Corporate wellness & lunch and learns

Book one hour, and give your team something they will use on Monday.

I am Julie Wilcoxson, a Nutrition Therapy Practitioner in Murfreesboro. I come into your building, or onto a call, and spend an hour on why capable people run out of road at three in the afternoon and what they can change about it.

One hour, ten to thirty people, and nothing needed from the room.

An hour of everybody’s time is the expensive part, so it has to come back.

You already know what a wellness session that did not land looks like. A slide about drinking more water, a room checking its phones, and a line item you have to justify again next year.

The reason this one holds a room is that it explains something people are already living through. The three o’clock drop, the cravings, the fog after lunch, the tiredness that a full night of sleep did not fix. Nobody in your building needs convincing that those are real.

They leave with an explanation and two or three things they can do tomorrow morning without buying anything.

Who usually books this

Four desks this tends to land on.

Tell me which one is yours and how much time you have, and I will shape the session around the people who will actually be sitting there.

You run HR for a company here

Wellness is on your plan for the year, attendance at the last session was thin, and you need something people will actually turn up for twice.

You are the office manager

This landed on your desk along with everything else, and you would like one email, one date and one person who handles the rest of it.

You run a practice or a clinic

Your own staff are the ones running on coffee and skipped lunches, and you would rather that conversation came from somebody other than you.

You program a chamber or an association

You need a session your members will rate well and talk about afterwards, on a subject every single person in the room has a stake in.

Your people sit down at noon and leave at one knowing what to change.

See the formats and the four talks

The Lunch & Learn is one hour and it is where most organizations start.

Go further and the same material runs as an eight week series for a company investing in a longer program.

Both are on the speaking page along with the four talks, in full, so you can see exactly which conversation you are booking before you ask for a date.

Pick the subject

Eight things I get asked to come and talk about.

Any of these can run as the Lunch & Learn or as part of the eight week series. Tell me which one your people keep bringing up and I will build the hour around it.

  • Inflammation

  • Metabolism

  • Hidden reasons for weight changes

  • How to build a balanced diet

  • Bloating, cravings and digestive changes

  • The Modern Life Gap™

  • Stress

  • Light environment

If the thing your team is struggling with is not on the list, say it in an email and I will tell you honestly whether it is mine to speak on.

Where I have already done this

These are the rooms I usually stand in.

Gyms and fitness classes, corporate lunches, women’s networking groups, mothers’ day out programs, churches, and doctors’ offices.

Interviews and press

I am in Murfreesboro, so I can be in your building before your people sit down.

Ask me about a date

I work with companies, practices, chambers and associations across Murfreesboro, Smyrna, La Vergne, Rockvale, Christiana and Eagleville, and out into the wider Nashville area.

For a team spread across several states, the same session runs live over a call. Everything else I do, the coaching and the course, is online anyway. Speaking is the part that happens in a room, and locally I would much rather be in it.

What it costs

Every company is different, so we work out the details together.

Pricing depends on your company and how long you want me for. Tell me roughly how many people and what you have in mind, and I will come back to you with the details.

  • The Lunch & Learn

    By arrangement

One session, 45 to 60 minutes including questions, built around whichever topic fits your people. I do my best work in a room of 10 to 30, where I can talk with them rather than at them.

  • The eight week series

    Per company

The full Primal Signal Method run for your team, one signal at a time. What it costs depends on your company and how long it runs, so tell me both and I will send you the details.

What people ask before they book

The four questions I get every time.

If yours is not here, email me and I will answer it myself.

How long is a lunch and learn, and how many people does it suit?
One hour, and it works best for ten to thirty people. That is the size I ask for, small enough that the room can ask me things as I go, and it needs nothing beyond somewhere for people to sit and eat.
Can you run it for a remote or hybrid team?
Yes. The same session runs live over a call for a distributed team, and for teams outside Middle Tennessee that is usually the right way to do it.
Do you come to our building?
Yes, across Murfreesboro, Smyrna, La Vergne, Rockvale, Christiana, Eagleville and the wider Nashville area. Speaking is the part of my work that happens in the room, and locally I would much rather be in it.
Is any of this medical advice?
No. I am a Nutrition Therapy Practitioner. I do not diagnose and I do not prescribe. Employees do not need to share personal health histories during group workshops. What your people get is an explanation of what their own energy is doing and what they can change about it.

Tell me who is in the room and how long I have.

Say roughly how many people, what they are struggling with most, and the date you are aiming at. I will come back with what I would do with that hour.
