I didn’t set out to create The Primal Signal Method.
I was simply trying to understand what was happening to my own body.
I’ve been a personal trainer for most of my adult life. Health, fitness, and nutrition weren’t new to me. I had spent years helping others improve their health while doing my best to live what I taught.
Then something happened that didn’t make sense.
In my 40s, I decided to go back to school to become a Registered Dietitian. I wanted to deepen my understanding of nutrition and help people on an even greater level.
During that journey, I did what my health professionals and education recommended.
Yet over time, I gained 50 pounds.
The harder I pushed, the less sense it made.
I wasn’t looking for shortcuts. I wasn’t ignoring my health. I was doing many of the things that should have worked.
And that forced me to ask a different question. What if there was something bigger influencing the way the body responds?
The deeper I looked, the more I became fascinated by the relationship between human biology and the environment we live in.
I started studying metabolism, hormones, circadian biology, light exposure, stress physiology, movement patterns, sleep, and the ways modern living influences the body’s ability to adapt.
What I discovered changed the way I think about health forever.
Within 12 weeks, I lost the 50 pounds, my energy returned, I gained strength and muscle, my PCOS reversed, my POTS became manageable, and I regained my fertility in my mid-40s. Most importantly, I found a way of living that was sustainable.
More than 3 years later, I continue to live this lifestyle, not because I have to, but because it works.
That experience taught me something I couldn’t ignore: Food matters. But it isn’t the whole story. The body reflects the environment it experiences.
The signals we receive every day influence how we sleep, move, recover, regulate energy, and maintain health over time.
The deeper I studied, the more I began to see a pattern.
Modern life has changed dramatically, but human biology has not.
That realization became what I now call the Modern Life Gap, the growing disconnect between how human biology evolved and how modern life asks us to live.
And it became the foundation for The Primal Signal Method.
Today, I help women understand the relationship between modern living and human biology so they can create sustainable health rather than chasing temporary solutions.
Because lasting transformation rarely comes from a single supplement, a single diet, or a single workout.
It comes from understanding the signals shaping your biology every day.
If You’re Here
Maybe you’re tired of being told to eat less and exercise more.
Maybe you’ve followed the plans, counted the calories, worked hard, and still feel like something isn’t adding up.
Maybe you’re looking for answers that go deeper than another quick fix.
You’re in the right place.
Next Step
If you’re ready to understand what your body may be responding to and how to create change that lasts, I’d love to help.
